What is Wix?

Wix is a cloud-based platform that provides tools for creating websites and online stores. It's known for its user-friendly drag-and-drop interface, allowing users to build websites without needing coding or design experience.

 

What you’ll learn:

  • Confidently navigate the Wix editor
  • Choose and customise a suitable template
  • Add and edit pages, images, text, and key features
  • Understand basic design and accessibility principles
  • Publish and maintain their site with confidence
  • Learn how to adjust your website alignment to be viewed on all devices
  • Learn about domains, why you need a domain, how to obtain a domain and the costs involved

You’ll also receive an editable workbook each week to support your learning and help you practice what you learn between sessions.

Every week you will have the opportunity to showcase your website as you build and ask any questions you may have.
